Proof of rabies vaccination is required. Children may train the dog during class as long as an adult guardian is present to take over if needed.
Please note: All dogs enrolled in dog obedience will be trained with the training collar. Positive reinforcement is used for correct behavior. Treats are not allowed as part of the training program.
Be the envy of beginner participants and take your dog to the next level! Graduate program dogs and owners are given more challenges and further distances for certain skills. Participants work on light to no leash lines, and step up to out-of sight sits and downs. Dogs do not come the first night.
Transform your dog into an upstanding member of the community! This AKC sponsored program teaches simple obedience skills like sit, down, stay, come, and walk on a loose leash. We also introduce meet and greet techniques and socialization activities to help improve manners and interaction with other people and dogs. Upon successful completion of the 13 step program you may purchase a certificate and title through the AKC. Program is open to all breeds, mixed and purebred. Bring your dog the first night.

This class will be a prerequisite for the next level offered in the summer. Dogs must have attended at least one full obedience course of 6 to 8 classes before enrolling. Bring veterinarian papers with vaccination proof the first night of class. Bring your dog the first night.
