Music Programs by Dylan Schweitzer

Private Guitar Lessons
Students begin with fundamentals including learning different parts of the guitar and learning chords. They progress to playing individual melodies, learning new songs, and creating original compositions.

Private Ukelele Lessons
Students will begin with fundamentals including learning different parts of the ukelele and learning how to play different scales. They progress to learning how to play individual melodies, and play familiar tunes.

Private Voice Lessons
Students learn vocal techniques used in musical styles from classical to today's hits. Sing like a pro by expanding vocal range, applying industry standard methods, and acquiring stage presence.

Private Piano Lessons
Students learn fundamentals of piano including basic chords and scales. They progress to playing individual melodies, learning new songs, and creating original compositions.

Instructor Bio

Growing up in the DeKalb area, Dylan was introduced to many instruments at a young age. As he grew more serious in music, he focused his education on learning Guitar, Classical Voice, and Composition. He is a member of the Illinois Music Education Association and was a valued part of the All-State Honors Mixed Chorus. When he's not working or studying, Dylan likes to write music for a local band in which he plays various instruments with an emphasis on the guitar. He describes himself as fun, energetic and an ambitious instructor that enjoys sharing the love and knowledge of music, not only to his students but to residents of the local retirement community.
