Take time to talk to Santa, participate in a craft or two, and enjoy a light breakfast (including pancakes).

There is a suggested donation of $5 per family to Feed'em Soup.

Daddy-Daughter Date Night

Join us for an event to create special memories for Daddy's little girl. This red-carpet event includes music, refreshments, dancing, and games. Come dressed to impress and make some ever lasting memories!

Recognized throughout the country as one of the Midwest's most historic musical organizations, the DeKalb Municipal Band will hold the 2014 concert season at the Hopkins Park Band Shell, 1403 Sycamore Road, DeKalb. Performances include soloists each week and a special "Pops Concert" and fireworks show on the Fourth of July as well as other special featured events.

Conductor: Kirk Lundbeck

History: The DeKalb Municipal Band is a tradition that goes back to 1854, when a small group of musicians fresh from the California Gold Rush formed the Silver Cornet Band. Since then, a City Band in DeKalb has existed for 155 years, uninterrupted by wars, and a depression. With such a record, DeKalb claims to be the city with the oldest continuous band in Illinois.

Cost: All concerts throughout the summer are FREE
